About the Author:Mrs. Draper was born on August 21, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Draper is 57 going on 58 in August. Mrs. Sharon Draper was an English teacher for thirty years in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1997, she received the highest honor an educator can be given. Mrs. Draper became a spokesperson for the teacher profession, crossing the globe to talk about the importance of excellence in the classroom. Mrs. Draper was always a bookworm and that’s why she wrote books. As an English teacher in the Cincinnati Public School system, Draper earned a reputation as a no playing educator who challenged her students to the limit. Mrs. Draper’s writing career started in 1990. Mrs. Draper wrote very good books some books she wrote were: Darkness before Dawn, Forged by Fire, Lost in the Tunnel of Time, Shadows of Caesar's Creek, Tears of a Tiger, Ziggy and the Black Dinosaurs.
